ASPAC Conference 2024 will be held at Gwacheon National Science Museum, Gwacheon, South Korea on 3-7 Sept 2024, themed as “LINK: communication with empathy!.” It is estimated that over 600 professionals from the Science Museums/Centers and other related institutions/companies around the world will attend this conference. The conference is a five-day program: CEO Forum, EXCO meeting, and workshops as pre-conference program (day one), three-day main conference including keynote speeches, oral & poster presentation session, science exhibition & market, and science show (days two-four), and post-conference field excursion (day five).
Gwacheon National Science Museum is one of the largest science museums in South Korea and has over eight hundred thousand visitors last year. The museum opened in November 2008, in Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, the southern outskirts of Seoul. It is an organization affiliated with the Ministry of Science and ICT, in charge of collecting and preserving scientific relics, exhibiting research-based targeted themes, and facilitating various education programs in the field of basic science, applied science and engineering, natural history, and the history of science and technology. Our museum is exhibits more than half of its exhibits in an experiential and participatory manner using state-of-the-art display media to create a scientific and cultural space that is enjoyable, memorable and touching.
